Art in the Box Classes

Art in the Box is a full service art studio that provides a learning environment in which the children can learn how to express themselves in a natural and organic way.

Private classes are available.

Weekends are open for Birthday parties. Cost is based on numbers & projects done. We can do children & adults a like.

For 2 weekends before Christmas in December, we will have present making workshops (ie: Paint a portrait of a Grandparent - "The Best Gift Ever!"

All classes include all materials. Please dress for art & fun!

Mixed media, paper mache, wire sculpture, clay, printing, coffee chat

This is a great way to get the creative river flowing again. Participants will have a choice of which paint medium & style they wish to work with. Whilst learning color theory & painting techniques.

Mixed Media. After school ages 6 to 12. Learn how to feel comfortable with each medium whatever it be. 3-D, wire sculpture, papermache, drawing, painting or clay. Have freedom in imagination and ideas with the theory and technique of materials. No classes holidays or weekends.

Artlett is a preschool program for children ages 3 to 5. Children will get the freedom to explore different materials & be encourages freedom of expressions while also learning the basics of colour theory. They will also be introduced to a variety of artistic styles.

Projects include printmaking, charcoal, watercolor, drawing, clay, sculpture and acrylic.

Snack included. Class size limited to 10.

March 23rd to the 27th, 2009. The camp runs from 9AM to 4PM. All supplies included. Bag lunches are required.
