About Art in the Box

Art in the Box is a Calgary based art studio providing art classes to both adults & children.

Our goal is to provide a learning environment in which the children can learn how to express themselves in a natural and organic way.

The environment will be structured, in that they will learn about materials, color theory & artistic skills.

Our students will learn how to feel comfortable & confident with these materials so that they are able to be creatively spontaneous.

About Catherine Davis - The Instructor

Catherine as born and raised in Calgary & has been teaching Children and Adults in the community for over 5 years. Catherine has two wonderful artisitic children of her own. She has experience working with children for over 20 years.

Catherine attended the Ontario College of Art & Design, majoring in ceramics. She enjoys tactile & functional art and loves working with children.
